The company has converted the entire production to Organic.

No one believed that IRIS could be grown organically again, as was done in the past, and the only goal to pursue was profit at any cost.

After some time, this company choice has allowed us to have a unique product in the world, Certified BIO, allowing the protection of the company territory, which is the same one we have lived in for generations.

The area where our IRIS grows is uncontaminated being in the mountains, there are no industries or other crops that could contaminate our product.

Our problem is weeds, being a product that dwells in the field for three or four years, but we are looking for a balance day by day.

The search for the best possible product allowed us to offer the market an excellence, which was then recognized with the Green Flag of the Italian Farmers Confederation which rewards the best Italian excellence.

In fact, to date, all the IRIS on the market undergoes chemical treatments repeated over the years, with herbicides and anti-sprouting agents, during their stay in the field.

The effort undertaken, by our Company, for the total cultivation in BIO is high, and not easy to implement, as the work on the plants at home considerably increases the management costs, for the use of manpower in the field, since the territories mountains do not allow the use of agricultural machinery.

However, the product obtained is extraordinary, it is completely natural, it is unique in the world, and free of any chemical substance, as it was produced in the last century, for its excellence in perfumes, cosmetics and distillates.
